Minneapolis MN · VA national cemetery
One of the largest national cemeteries in the country, serving eligible veterans, service members, spouses and dependent children with casketed and cremated burial. An all-volunteer Memorial Rifle Squad renders military funeral honors. Office hours are weekdays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. To schedule a burial, call the National Cemetery Scheduling Office at 1-800-535-1117; pre-need eligibility can be applied for in advance.
St. Petersburg FL · VA national cemetery
VA National Cemetery Administration cemetery at 10000 Bay Pines Blvd N, serving eligible veterans and their families in the Tampa Bay area. Provides burial of cremated remains and interment of casketed remains in existing family gravesites, plus memorial and interment scheduling.
Bushnell FL · VA national cemetery
A VA National Cemetery Administration cemetery in Bushnell (Sumter County), about 50 miles north of Tampa, serving the greater Tampa Bay area. Provides casket and cremation burial for eligible veterans and dependents, pre-need eligibility applications, committal services, and military funeral honors coordination.

Harwood ND · Fargo–Moorhead · burial & memorial
VA national cemetery in Harwood, just north of Fargo, opened in 2019 as the first national cemetery in North Dakota. Burial, opening and closing of the grave, a government headstone or marker, and perpetual care are provided at no cost to eligible veterans, their spouses, and dependent children. Burials are scheduled through the National Cemetery Scheduling Office: fax discharge papers to 866-900-6417, then call 800-535-1117. Grounds open sunrise to sunset daily; office Mon-Fri 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Mailing address is 2101 Elm St N, Bldg 40, Fargo, ND 58102.
Mandan ND · burial & memorial
North Dakota's state veterans cemetery, operated by the Adjutant General of North Dakota (North Dakota National Guard). Burial options include in-ground casket and cremation gravesites plus columbarium niches; eligibility covers veterans with qualifying service and an honorable, general, or under-honorable-conditions discharge, along with spouses and eligible dependents. Office hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and the grounds are open 24 hours for visitation; it is about a three-hour drive southwest of Fargo, so Fargo-area families may find Fargo National Cemetery in Harwood ND closer.
