Production Support Coordinator-D Shift 6pm to 6am
Overall Summary:
The Production Support Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the administrative functions of the production department. Reporting directly to the Operations Supervisor, this position ensures the smooth execution of production workflows by managing documentation, materials, and communication across teams.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Monitor and track incoming production jobs.
- Assemble job packages, including tray tags, pallet placards, and other required materials.
- Review production documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain and update relevant spreadsheets and reports to support operational visibility.
- Collaborate with Account Executives, Content Development, and the Client Services team to resolve job-related issues.
- Archive completed production documents to support future research and reference.
- Remove outdated or incorrect documents from the production floor as needed.
- Order materials in alignment with the upcoming job schedule.
- Print designated materials for department leads.
- Partner with Team Leads and Supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and timely job completion.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental needs.
Required Skills/Abilities/Competencies:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external vendors.
- Resourceful problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Familiarity with departmental systems and processes, including:
- Foundation Monarch
- Portal Applications
- Work standards
- Job tickets
- Basic quality assurance procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one year of industry experience; experience in Company Lettershop operations preferred.
- Training in lean manufacturing and/or quality control is a plus.
- Previous participation on a safety team and/or other safety training a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work consecutively 12-hour shifts, rotating 3 or 4 days per week including weekends; flexibility to work additional hours as necessary.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds as necessary.
- Pre employment drug screen and background required.
