Highlights of your role:

The Laundry Aide handles, folds, sorts, stores, processes and transports laundry and linen throughout the facility so that sufficient supplies are available to meet resident/patient needs.  Laundry services are provided in accord with facility policies and procedures and in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations to enhance resident/patient comfort and enhance the quality of life.

Shift: 6:15am-2:45pm
Job Schedule: Monday-Friday for 40 hours/week 
Hours: 40 hours/ week
FTE: 1.0 FTE
Weekends: limited
Holidays: limited 
Pay: $17.82-$23.16

 

What you’ll get to do in this role:

Collect, weigh and sort linen/laundry from entire facility/nursing home.

Operates washer, dryer, ergo tug, iron and label machine

Fold, hang and stack clean laundry/linen and distribute on clean carts for delivery.

Deliver clean laundry/linen throughout the entire facility/nursing home.

Clean all laundry equipment including washer, dryer, carts and tubs.

 

You’re an excellent fit, if you have:

  • good customer service & communication skills
  • ability to work independently
