Overall Summary:

The National Sales Director is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new and expanded business across diverse industries. This role leads complex, performance media consultative sales cycles by deeply understanding client objectives, qualifying opportunities for strategic fit, and positioning IWCO’s integrated marketing, print, data, and analytic solutions as value-driven outcomes. Accountable for building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline, engaging executive-level decision makers, and executing a disciplined, milestone-driven sales process supported by data, Salesforce CRM rigor and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate excels at identifying opportunities, influencing decision-making, and positioning IWCO as a trusted partner through innovative. comprehensive marketing solutions with financial services, property & casualty, healthcare and other industries.

 

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

  •  Research, identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities through outbound outreach, inbound leads, referrals, and industry events.
  •  Actively pursue assigned prospects while independently sourcing and developing additional qualified opportunities.
  •  Build and maintain a strong, qualified sales pipeline sufficient to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  •  Qualify prospects and opportunities based on strategic fit, revenue potential, and solution alignment.
  •  Track and report on sales performance, pipeline development, and goal attainment using data-driven metrics and CRM platform. Establish and achieve sales goals, objectives, and action plans to develop and maintain client profiles.
  •  Establish and maintain strong client relationships with key client and prospect stakeholders and executive decision makers, through consultative selling and continuous engagement.
  •  Strategically identify client challenges, business objectives, timelines, and decision-making process; align IWCO’s value proposition to address those needs.
  •  Lead client meetings, presentations and strategic sessions, positioning IWCO as a trusted partner.
  •  Cultivate additional business from existing client base; generate potential new, incremental revenue.
  •  Ensure clients receive exceptional, full service, best-in-class support, accurate forecasting, as well as consistent and timely follow-up.
  •  Collaborate with internal teams to deliver innovative, measurable marketing solutions and ensure seamless client experience.
  •  Support IWCO’s mission to be the best in the industry; institute best practices and ensure that all actions, plans, and services are supportive of mission, culture and business philosophies.
  • Utilize marketing data, tools, and resources to extract actionable insights and effectively communicate IWCO’s value proposition to prospective and existing clients.
  • Leverage marketing technology platforms to capture client engagement, enhance personalization, and strengthen long-term loyalty to IWCO’s solutions. Collaborate with Data Analytics and Marketing teams to develop tests, campaigns, and messaging that resonate with client target audiences.
  • Perform other (or other related) duties as applicable or assigned.

 

 

Required Skills/Abilities/Competencies:

  • A self-starter and excellent communicator with exceptional critical thinking, decision making and problem resolution skills.
  • Strong background in data analytics, marketing strategy, and consultative selling.
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and compelling client narratives.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and influence without authority.
  •  Strategic thinker with a proactive, results-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in utilizing sales enablement tools, Salesforce, LinkedIn Navigator, developing outreach strategies and account plans.
  •  Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

 

Education and Experience:

  •  Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in business; preferably with Sales, Marketing, or Communications focus; equivalent experience considered in lieu of education.
  •  7+ years of progressive and successful Sales experience, preferably focused on national and middle market accounts within Marketing, Marketing Automation, Direct Marketing or Digital Advertising.
  •  Proven success managing complex sales cycles across diverse industries.
  •  Print, marketing and/or media experience preferred.

 Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work off hours to meet customers and company requests.
  • Occasional travel and additional time commitments required.
