Heavy Wrecker Tow Truck Driver - 1st Shift

Clearwater, MinnesotaDirect Hire

The essential duties include:

  • Pick up and delivery of customers vehicles
  • Towing heavy duty trucks & trailer.
  • Parts picks up, assisting techs in shop, maintain a clean shop, clean customer vehicles.
  • Inspect the overall condition of Truck to ensure that they meet U.S. Department of Transportation's safety requirements.
  • Compile inspection reports detailing their findings
  • Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
  • Ensure the final work product meets quality standard
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and co-workers

 

 


Requirements

We'd love to have you as part of our team. The ideal candidate would have the following skills:

  • Great work ethic
  • Willingness to jump in and help out where needed
  • Attention to details
  • Mechanical aptitude with basic electric diagnostic / troubleshooting experience or technical training
  • Basic tool set and tool box for heavy truck repair to start (preferred)
  • Required, CDL, hazmat, tankers, air brakes, doubles and triples
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 80-100 lbs. occasionally and 80-100 lbs. frequently
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliability and a dedication to be a hard worker
  • Ability to work independently maintaining a safe, efficient and friendly work environment
  • Honesty and respect

Blaine Brothers was founded in 1979 and has now been serving the transportation industry for over 35 years. Two brothers began with the mission to provide quality service and build quality relationships. Blaine Brothers has since grown and expanded to meet the needs of our clients.

 

In 2006 the Blaine Brothers Minneapolis location constructed and moved into a 58,000 square foot facility located in Blaine, Minnesota. Our team of professionals offer our clients solutions to the variety of challenges they face. With services offered 24/7 and the facility being open 24/5, superior customer service is provided around the clock. We have multiple bays for truck and trailer service along with a complete offering of parts. Our Service Technicians have an extensive amount of experience.
