Job Title: Core Assembly Technician – 1st shift

Department: Manufacturing

Hourly Wage: $21 / hr

Hours: Monday-Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm

Summary:
The Core Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling and testing various components to create complete units for use in Dalsin’s products. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, use of hand tools, strong hand-eye coordination, and the ability to follow precise assembly instructions and quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assemble core units according to detailed work instructions and engineering drawings.
  • Perform various assembly operations, including soldering, wiring, crimping, and mechanical fastening.
  • Inspect and test components for defects and ensure they meet quality specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose assembly issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly processes and efficiency.
  • May be required to assist with other manufacturing tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • [Number] years of experience in electronic/mechanical assembly preferred.
  • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to utilize hand tools.
  • Basic knowledge of electronics and mechanical principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
